The U Can! 20th Anniversary Scholarship Gala will kick off the Capital City Football Classic week, Thursday September 11, 2008 at the beautiful Sheraton Grand Sacramento Hotel.  The gala will offer the community, corporation, and organization the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of deserving students while enjoying an Elegant Evening of Education, Laughter, & Praise

The evening will feature some of our countries brightest stars and most influential people, such as famed attorney Will Gary as key note speaker, and world renowned gospel super star, Yolanda Adams. These stars alone with community leaders, educators, corporate partners, and family members will be on hand to honor and reward sixty college bound students with more than $50,000 in scholarship money. The scholarships will range from $500 to $2,500.

Along with the incredible line up of talent, this red carpet event will also include a five course meal. The price for the gala is $200 per guest. The Capital City Football Classic anticipates nearly 800 guests to be in attended.

Corporate table can be purchase for $2,000 with over 50% going toward a scholarship for a deserving student that evening.
